Recreation and Area Features

Concho Lake is approximately 70 miles South of the property, is one of Arizona's few spring-fed lakes. In the 1970's, the Arizona Game & Fish Department built a camping/picnic area with two boat ramps and started stocking the lake annually with Rainbow Trout. The lake is open year round and early morning or dusk visits are the best time for viewing Eagles, Migrating Bird Flocks.
